Chiltepin / Reaper F1 after one week above ground and 12/12 T5 lighting.   One of it's siblings just starting to show, was planted a week ago in petri dish magnified 200x.  

  The first from last seasons cross of chiltepin and reaper to set pods.  It "should" have seeds for an F2.

By the looks of it I will soon have many others setting pods.  Going to wait until I have at least a couple more then chew one up.

Found this little guy this morning.  Cannot wait for it to ripen and get to drying for seed.  Kind of want to taste it.    

My Castors are above ground in 24 hrs often.  Never tried coffee, where did you get pre-roasted seed?

Average realized lumen for a 1kw MH new is 80000 lumens at 4000k.  These at 60000 lumen and 6000k blow the MH away for lighting the fabrication plant.  I am replacing 85 MH's with these over the next year.  Their spectrum is likely crap for plants but may just buy an extra since I'm getting the...

Direct replacement for 1000 watt MH high bay fixtures.  This is 60000 lumen and from 60' up it provides just over 500 lux at the floor.  Draws a mere 2 amps at 277v.  

Thinking of adding a little reagent grade H2O2 to my mix in the test tubes, can't imagine a little extra O2 in the water would hurt anything.  What do you guys think?

Not really, the ortho product is a direct use spray that is extremely diluted in my mix as is the Neem oil.  Without them the aphids would keep recurring, once I added just a hint of the non organics they do not come back after initial spraying.  Even the flying aphids die.

Takes a long time for our chiltepins to finally turn red but when they do its almost overnight.  I may see one yellow in the morning leaving for work and come home to pretty red and ripe 9 hrs later.  Similar plant so you may see same.
