When this same thing happened to me a few years back, I canned them sweet-pickle style. They turned out to be a lot better than I thought they would be.

I am no professional, but I have seen where it sometimes takes a couple days for a smaller plant to recover from shock.

Sadly, yes- Todd passed away in a nice Thai green curry. But he exacted his revenge on me the next morning in the restroom, which may have been his plan all along

I named a pepper Todd one time. I'm not very imaginative.

Fried peanut butter, apricot jelly and banana sandwich with a generous helping of cayenne flakes mixed into the jelly. Pure bliss.
