    you could just cover the plant in mud and it would be fine, or you could buy some shadecloth and drape it over them

    they mainly eat mold, but if you really hate them you could just make sure no mold gets in the bed, that's mostly what they eat

    most of the "black" or "purple" types either just have purple leaves or pods that start a different color   purple bhut has purple pods that turn red black cubano has black leaves with peppers that are dark but end up red black pearl are the same if you crossed any of those with like a white...

    if you put anything in the ground make sure it's on a little dirt mound and not inside a hole   if you have pots outside make sure they're being held off the ground

      39.8C is 103F, with the sun directly on soil I'm guessing it could get up to 120F all the seeds I planted in full sun never sprouted   all the seeds I put in the shade sprouted (soil temp was probably around 90F) 103 sounds perfect

    all the plants I left to die in the ground are doing great in all this rain, they're on their second set of true leaves.   all the ones I put left outside in pots look like they're about to die

    chlorine evaporates pretty fast so you'd just end up wetting the leaves

      there's a store run by an old lady attached to a motorcycle shop on 595 and university that sells mycorrhizae for $2 per ounce, 2 feet of compost for $10 diatom. earth etc. etc.  if you ever want to go organic I'd check out what they have, there's also a hydroponics store in Miami that sells...

      first set of true leaves is way too young for this area, I'll just wait until I can easily tell they're malnourished I guess

    too much water, after a few days of rain the same thing happens to my habanero, just don't water it any time soon
