organic-growing Silverfish: Organic Pest Control?

Does anyone have a personally tested remedy for deterring or killing these insects in a raised bed?

they mainly eat mold, but if you really hate them you could just make sure no mold gets in the bed, that's mostly what they eat

They eat dead stuff, so unless you have some kind of silverfish phobia, leave them alone.

Just another living part of your soil, probably helping the composting process. I would enjoy and leave them alone.

I think you are confusing them with earwigs.

Earwigs are dark colored, silverfish are...silver. Earwigs mostly eat dead stuff, but they may go after live plant tissue. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earwig
 
Earwigs in your compost = good
Earwigs in your vegetable bed = probably nothing but could be trouble
 
If you put unfinished compost on your beds you will get a bunch of them. I have never personally had a problem with them, but then again I have never had what I would classify as an infestation in any of my growing beds.

I have earwig damage every year on my Tuberous Dahlia leaves. They eat holes in them which doesn't damage the plant but it's unsightly.
