Operation Golden Garden 2014: Let's Get Started!

That gas chamber is "no bueno"! It sucks when you're healthy. I hope you're closer to 100% by then. At least you know you're sinuses will be clean afterwards. Glad you like the pods. I hope they live up to your standards.   Tim

Operation Golden Garden 2014: Let's Get Started!

Glad to see you're semi-healthy and back doing reviews. It must have been really bad to make you consider retirement. Hopefully, for our sake, you don't go that route.   Tim

    LUCY

I'm sorry if it's common knowledge, but I'm not familiar with the name Lucy. What type of pepper is that, and where did you have it tested? Your peppers are beautiful. Do the orange Fatalis have a different flavor than the yellow?   Tim

Thanks guys. Yes, they are all first year plants. I tried to over winter a few last year. I don't have that process quite figured out yet. One plant died around November. The other one died about January.   Tim

Operation Golden Garden 2014: Let's Get Started!

That's tough, but at least you didn't get the "2 motrin and plenty of water" bit. I hope they got you straightened out. I'll make sure to say a quick prayer for you. Keep us updated and let us know if we can do anything to help.   Tim

In a perfect world we can use both. I don't think SanPatricio intended to insult you. I think he was just offering you another option. I do however agree that you can get a more direct answer if you ask the question in an open forum. The search feature becomes more effective if you have a...

Operation Golden Garden 2014: Let's Get Started!

Great reviews Matt. It's interesting to see how the different peppers hit you. Off topic a bit, but is that knife you use in your videos a zero tolerance ( ZT0350TSST). I've been contemplating purchasing one, but wanted to hear from someone if it was worth the price. The best deal I could...

Thanks everybody. I use a 5-1-1 medium. I also add dolomitic lime, osmocote fertilizer, blood meal, and bone meal. I fertilize around every 10 to 14 days, alternating Alaska brand fish fertilizer and Miracle Grow all purpose fertilizer.   Tim

Looking good Rebel. The temps in NC are steady in the high 80s to low 90s. Like Rebel said, the humidity is the killer. You can't be outside more than 30 minutes before you need to change shirts. Keep the updates coming Rebel. I can't wait to see how it does when the temps drop.   Tim
