Twisted Sinister - what is this?

I received some seeds in a trade with Orekoc labeled "Twisted Sinister."   These may have come off a seed train.   Anybody know what these are?    I have two plants growing now, too soon to tell anything except they are chinense.     Thanks,   Mr. B.

heat Yet another New World's Hottest Pepper thread

Yes, I'm sure.    The testing was done over time at Winthrop University.   See this link.   Winthrop       Here is the NMSU study done by Dr. Paul Bosland et. al.   that established the Moruga as world's hottest.   If only they had a sample of reapers to test at that same time.     NMSU pepper...

heat Yet another New World's Hottest Pepper thread

Dragon, I visited Ed's shop in January 2014 to buy seeds.     I talked to him about reapers, which had just been awarded the Guiness record a couple months before.    He mentioned that he had 2 varieties in the pipeline that were hotter.   We've seen various names but I think these were HP48 and...

    what is it?

It could be a Beni Highlands.     The flowers look like c. chinense.   How is the heat level?   If it's approaching habanero level it may be a Beni H.

    Bahamian goat pepper origin theory

the reds were not as tasty as the peach, but quite hotter.    I didn't think they had enough positive attributes to save seed.

The Hot Pepper Community Brainstrain pics

Red Brain Strain from Cappy's stock grown out for 3 years.     The "Brain Strain Yellow" may be a misnomer.   I got the stock from Cross Country Nursery in 2012, at that time it was labeled Yellow 7 Pot but now their pics show a very different pod.   And the ones I have look very brain-ish.    I...
