    pics Harvest

Thanks for the encouragement! Yeah, they have already recovered for the most part. Broke a few branches due to picking pods on dry/brittle plants. Probably should have let them rehydrate a bit before picking.... Other than that, they are doing fine. Pepper plants are pretty resilient, even I...

Forgot to post pics. The buckets are the THSC plants. Black grow bag is from Bhuter's seeds!

    free Free Bishop's Crown Seeds

My Bishop's Crown that was started from Bhuter's seeds is really starting to show out now! Granted, its in a 55 gallon grow bag and the ones that I got from THSC are in 4 and 5 gallon buckets, so the side-by-side comparison isnt exactly fair. Still, this thing is bushing out nicely and starting...

    pics Harvest

Finally got a decent pull today. Came home from vacation to find a few dead plants. Apparently somebody forgot to water them while I was gone. Raccoon destroyed one also... Other than that, most are still plugging along. I think I have enough Aji Fantasy to make a batch of jelly! More pics to come.

    Leaves curling up and folding!

If its on a small/isolated level then yes, its not an issue. If it spreads or gets worse, or if you start to see other symptoms then I would get somewhat concerned.

Chocolate Brainstrain and Brown Moruga: where to find seeds?

You are correct! I grew the Brown Moruga last year and loved the flavor. Growing Chocolate Bhutlahs this year and they are hotter for me but extremely floral, which I don't like at all.

    Flower drop

Its not the Miracle Grow. I was having the same issue with my Aji Champion. It was producing flowers like crazy but kept dropping them. All other varieties were setting fruit just fine. I narrowed it down to the plant being sensitive to my extreme heat/humidity, so I moved it to a shady spot in...

contest Southern Hemisphere Growdown 2019 - 40 Ltr Grow

I had just about given up on my seeds germinating. Checked on them yesterday and one sprouted........out of 9 seeds planted. Not sure if it is going to make it or not. These seeds were old, so not a big surprise, but i probably wont start over if these fail. Looks like you guys may have dodged a...

    Root bound or compacted mix..?

It was getting washed out. Try it now with the new soil. May want to try some dry fert too for extended release.

    Root bound or compacted mix..?

Hydrophobic soil. Waxy buildup on the soil making it very difficult to absorb moisture and deliver nutrients to the plant. Because of this, you were having to give large amounts of water just to give it a small drink, which washed out any nutrients in the soil before the plant had time to use...

    pod Supposed to be habaneros

Looks similar to the Habs we get in the supermarket. Actually a hybrid, I believe, called a Spartacus.

    pod Supposed to be jalapeno

I have had JalapeƱos that would melt your face off! Growing some this year with zero heat. You never know what you will get with this variety, so I'd say it is definitely possible[emoji16]

pests Pest Identification - plz help my baby

Doesn't appear to be pests or nutrients to me. Looks like some type of viral or bacterial spot, but I can't pinpoint exactly which one. I hope I am wrong.

Lemon Drop and Sugar Rush Peach Confirmation.

Well that's good to know. I sure caused a big fuss about it, maybe they took care of it.

Lemon Drop and Sugar Rush Peach Confirmation.

I agree, just looks like a suntan. The SRP is questionable but possible. FWIW I have yet to grow a seed from Baker Creek that turned out to be what it was supposed to be. I ordered over ten varieties a few years ago and not a single one grew true to what I expected.

Cumari Do Para. Capsicum Chinense. I would guess the scoville at around 100-200K. Flavor wise, this thing is a Chinense bomb! No sweetness, no fruity, just Chinense! I honestly hated the flavor, but out of a 18" tall by 18" wide plant (in a 16 liter pot) I got well over a thousand...
