I grew some of these last year, that were labeled F3 or F4. They ripened to red and still kept a hint of purple staining around the pods. Beautiful plants.
Caramel moruga scorp
These brown bonnets, along with JHCs, are my favorite hab heat range brown peppers. Sweet earthy tasting. I'm sure we can work that out at some point, with seeds from this plant. That one is making the best shapes out of the bunch so far.
The MOA purple cross had a nice red...
Jason, starting to get some color on this tennis ball sized pod.
Jay's peach ghost scorp
Had one with lunch. Had placenta down to the tip. This one hurt, but tasted so good!
Thanks Trippa! Watching a large thick calyx engulf the pod, as it out grows the pod, while the pod tries to escape as it catches up, is pretty cool. Something ever chilihead needs to see!
So... this is one branch pulled over to the neighboring plant. Two different colors of yellow on the dulce sol.
And some bbg7 calyxes on these crosses made for a pict I had to take.
As the story goes, the bubblicious taste was only in the original cross. The next years generations did not reproduce the same taste, but the name had stuck by that point.
A few more...
Noticed that the two PI-441598 Peach cross x PDN F1 plants are different. Both purple stemmed, leaved, but each one leans toward the opposite parent shape wise.
The PDN dominant.
And the PI-441598 dom.
The PI-441598 Peach cross was a F4, so unstable enough to produce more...
I have only tried the strange shaped one above. It was above hab heat, not a super at all. Almost no placenta. I had a more Reaper dominant plant's first pod ripen, only to find a freshly cut hole in it. It looked hot of course.
With these being F2s, the diversity is grand. Each plant had been...
Thank you Gary!
Haven't got your dvd in the mail yet. I have been out of commission the last few days with the back. Will let you know once it's dropped.
Thanks Denniz.
Few more picts....
One of my Reaper x bbg7 F2, that's learning towards the bbg7, with crazy calyxes.
Another one, no...
Back is jacked.
Going thru the picts on the phone and decided to upload a few.
I ate the not so brown 7. Super bitter, and hot as hell! The hottest pod of the year so far, hotter than Adam's Reaper & monster bbg7. Serious throat burn.
Had a nice layering of placenta thru out.
A sweet...
These came off Judy's new 2015 and unstable page. There is variation being shown, your plant is proving this as well.
I am positive that yours is a aji mango by the shape, just an off phenotype of it. Same dimple on the tip has been common among the picts.
Jamaican mushroom is usually attached to an annuum.
This looks like a scotch bonnet of sorts. I have seen "true" scotch bonnets (labeled that way) and foodarama scotch bonnets both look like this pod.
