Ah, fair enough. I figured that it wasn't too bad a thing to happen seeing as the seedling still sprouted as normal, without much delay. Thanks for the fast replies guys :) If anybody has any info on the reasoning behind this I would be intrigued to know :cool:

I bought a load like this from a small indian and continental store, they were unlabeled loose in a box so I asked the guy behind the counter what they were...low and behold he spent the next 15 minutes or so explaining to me that they were a type of pepper, which wasn't really the answer I was...

Howdy, I had a check on my babies this morning, only to find that this guy had sprung up while I had been asleep :) As opposed to having 2 'leaves' like the other seedlings, this guy has 3. Can anyone offer an explanation?

As for now I don't have any! I guess I'll be making it again in the next week or so, so I will try and remember to take some pictures. If anyone else makes this, please add your pictures to the comments :)

The light clicked on a few hours ago, and upon inspection there are 15 healthy looking seedlings so far, some of which are showing signs of their true leaves come through. There is however, one little fella who didn't fancy leaving his seed so I've helped it out without doing too much damage...

Oh good, it's been hovering just below 80, the leaves aren't getting hot so I guess it's all good :)

:welcome: So after being rather slow off of the mark as far as the season goes, and having 30 odd seeds germinating in a box I was deliberating as to what I should do with regards to actually growing these germing seeds. I spoke to a friend who used to grow .. ermm... rather 'tropical' plants...

I've had a look at simpson's seeds and Think I'm about to order! However any other ideas are more than welcome. Thanks :)
