Not sure why I would make another shelf when i already bought a table. I'm not seeing where you screwed the light in. Maybe it's easier to get a 50 gallon tote and put a 4 foot light across it? I could also get a nice sized wooden crate and lay a grow light across it?

Oh I see now. So the 80/10/10 mix is only for composted pine bark fines. The one that is cut with the fresh pine bark fines by like 50% is the only one that's cut with that peat heavy mix. Not sure if I can find a big bag of ewc. Maybe a landscape company has composted pine bark fines?
How cheap is biochar? Or would it be cheaper for me to get worm castings?

I think I plan on adding compost to this mix too. But since we get dry spells quite a lot here in Greensboro NC I think a 60/20/20 mix would be great right? I think they sell pine bark fines as soil conditioner.
