Umm, Im in Iowa, farther north than you and I start my super hots at the end of January/beginning of February. It depends how crazy you want to get. You can get fairly good results with a 4 foot shop light and a pair of "daylight" 6500k bulbs or you can go a bit over board and get a MH or HPS...

LOL A Brain Strain is a strain of the 7 Pot/Pod pepper that looks like a brain, wrinkly and all. They are quite lovely. The problem with Baker's peppers (and no offense to Baker) is that soon EVERYONE will have these seeds and be able to grow their own.
