    Stem problem

Hi everyone.  I'm having some trouble with one of my plants where its stem is thin on the bottom but is normal further up.  This is a problem because the stem on the bottom isn't strong enough to support the plant.  I currently have it held up by a pencil, and was wondering what I should do...

    Jalapeno Cracked

Alright, thanks. Maybe I should try less heat then. My super hots seemed to like it but it might have been too much for the jalapenos

    Jalapeno Cracked

Wow those look very nice. I got some seeds for those but for whatever reason I've had no luck with germination. Must have tried 10 seeds. Did you have any problems?

What's the problem with these chilli plants ?

I was having yellowing like that. I fertilized with some 10/10/10 chemical fertilizer at half strength as they were still young and they recovered in a couple days. For some reason it was just my anuums that had that yellowing problem. Same soil for all my plants but my chinense didn't have...

    seed-train Scorched Train 2015-2016

Glad the train is doing well so far, very excited to be able to participate. Quick question though, what is everyone using for packing material? I figured now that it's a box instead of padded envelope some more protection might be needed.

    seed-train Scorched Train 2015-2016

It'll take a few days but you can order the envelopes online for free, I just got a pack of 10 in the mail last Thursday. Edit: sorry lol.....for some reason it took me to the end of the last page instead of this one so I didn't see all of the other responses =.=

My no shows to the party.

Surprisingly jalapenos are one I haven't had any luck with even though I have multiples of most of the superhots I've planted. I was expecting the jalapenos to be the easy ones

health What am I doing wrong

This is actually my first year growing the Aleppo as well, but I've heard they're one of the most flavorful peppers, especially when made into powder.

health What am I doing wrong

Yeah as far as height goes, I have Aleppo peppers in seedling trays that have grown so tall the leaves are discoloring due to the heat from the light. I had to move them under the higher lights that I'm using for the plants in solo cups.

    seed-train Scorched Train 2015-2016

I would like to join for round 2 if that's alright. I know I'm just barely above the post minimum but I plan to stay active from now through this year's growing season and in the future. I've started a bit of a collection and would love to contribute to everyone else's as well as expand my own.

How long do you worry about damping off?

I stopped worrying when they grew a set of true leaves, but I think I may have kept the soil too dry as I had many that dried up and died. It's a fine line between desert and swamp, especially with very young seedlings

Need tips on my setup (2nd try)

If you didn't have the heating pad on the last two weeks it's not a problem that nothing has sprouted yet. And it's not too late at all. I have seedlings that are only a month old from the day I planted seed and they're as big as transplants I got in April last year that produced pods.
