I wonder why the low growth is fine? It's only on most leaves above the first fork.

On some of my plants the new top leaves are really distorted and curled. The bottom growth is fine though. I see no aphids or other pests. There are some ants and flys hangin aroung the plants though which is wierd with out aphids.

What's your secret? I had maybe 8 ripes pods by November last year and all my chinenses beat it bad. I can grow tepins/piquins but having them ripen is a whole different thing.

It's been around 113F with humidity up here for the last 4 days and I'm in the Great white north. Brutal!

Can't you grow until November or December outside before you get frost? Trust me you will get more peppers than you can eat in a year this season.

I use 3tsp of murphys in 500ml of water. Spray in the morning or night then rinse with water 30 min later just to be sure. Seemed to help last year.

Don't worry man. I started my seeds around the same time 2 years ago and had tons of pods by september and I live in Canada. You have plenty of time to see pods this year down where you are. Don;t sweat it I guarentee you lots of pods this year. :) Check this out for proof...

No, I can't find many sprays up here and I'm afraid to use anything harmful.

It's weird I see no slugs or trails. Look at the damage now. Some holes almost look like hail damage but we've had none.

Any pests? Aphids thrips ect? Second pic I'm not sure but some of my leaves have done that and corrected itself.
