Will removing bottom leaves create more forks? My plants have only a few forks at the moment but ton of leaves below the first fork. Should I remove them all? Will that allow the plant to have more energy to make more forks and thus, more peppers?
I haven't given any calcium. I never have to my plants. I can buy bone meal but heard it takes a month at least to work. I can't find any cal mag or folical local. I might have to get a few logs and have a small bondfire for some ash.
This is a pic of my chocolate hab and I think it needs calcium but my other plants have yellow distorted new growth. There are no aphids or other pests I see. I gave a lot of miracle grow in the past 2 weeks to get them going. Twice in 2 weeks a week apart I hit with full strength 15-30-15...
Unless you over winter, forget the pequin. They are slllllloooooooowwwwwww and by the size it is now and where you live you'll get ripe peppers next july.
Keep the garden even if it costs the marriage......... no wait you have a kid I see.......get rid of the garden and stay together for your 3 year olds sake.
Smoking near them doesn't cause it, but touching them after touching infected tobacco does. It can live for something like 20 years on surfaces so if anyone moved into a house with in the last 20 years and don't smoke it's still possible for plants to get it I guess.
