    pepperproblem's 2013 grow log.

Its always odd to see a overwintered stick trying to produce fruit without much foliage. You know those little weird peppers that come out early. Something to eat, I suppose. Spring here is cool and the seedlings do not like it. My production is such that they have to be outside, so regulating...

    Are there black ghost peppers?

The difference in taste I notice in general with color variations of the same pepper is the yellow ones are more citrus, or Pineapple (7 Pod Yellow), and the like. The red ones tend to be hotter and with a more berry flavor and the brown.black, dark red ones tend, on average to be the hottest...

    seeds CCN Delivered Seedling Dilemna

Cross Country does a great job. But they do need a pretty prolonged hardening off since they are greenhouse grown. They also tend to be a bit wispy, so shield them from wind also until they get strong. . Nice plants

    pepperproblem's 2013 grow log.

Because of the big lagoon near my house, there are more bugs than I am used to in San Diego. Staying organic all the way! Should be a fun season Ramon.

    annuum Hot C.annuum varieties

Agree, Goats Weed is a pretty hot Annuum. The first time I had one I was surprised by the heat. Better dried, I think. Big producer too. The 1st pick was about 150 pods. It kept going for months after that. Too bad some one took the plant. Here it was it looked like.

    pepperproblem's 2013 grow log.

I, like many of you, have to move plants around. I use these plastic racks for ghetto greenhouses. The total cost for each is about 18 bucks. I also use some with shade cloth on some to help seedlings in hardening off. I can regulate temps and sun exposure throughout the day.I can also germinate...

Well with each move brings new challenges. This is a overwintered plant waking up to this. Strange looking things. Does anyone know what they are, before I hurt them? Thanks The plant is a Pequin
