Whenever the first pod shows up on any of my plants, I'm all :woohoo:  I can have a dozen pods on multiple other plants, but any plant producing its first pod of the season is just instant happy.

Asian market has Thai chiles and a few other Asian favorites in every way you can imagine.  Regular grocery has habs of various sort as their hottest, but they at least import the good ones from Yucatan region because they've figured out there are a ton of Mexicans here who will clean them out...
