Hydro update:   3/26            

Potted up 50ish plants last night... that was a hell of a chore:     It definitely should have been done sooner thought. The vast majority of them were becoming root bound or there. Hopefully that doesn't set me back. We shall see...

I do a 16/8 light cycle. I just talked to the guy from Craigslist. Off to go get my 1 gallon pots. :-)

Looks like it's time to pot up:     I found a local Craiglist add that is selling 1 gallon nursery pots for $0.25 each. Hopefully I get a call back from them soon.

  Interesting... I wonder if this is just a sensitive/needy plant? It's kind of funny when you look at a group shot and all the other plants are thriving and my WDT looks like she's pouting lol. I have a Yellow Devil's Tongue and she's doing just fine though...

Thanks guys! I am some concerned now about having to pot up sooner than anticipated and running out of space. I'm considering building a cold frame or hoop house to get them outside sooner rather than later.

Has anyone seen this before?        For some reason my White Devil's Tongue is getting bad leaf curl. It's getting the same treatment as all the other ladies and is the only one showing this symptom. Thoughts?

  Looks fantastic man! SIAP, but what's the upside to using aged peppers? Is there a flavor impact similar to wine or something? Are there any special requirements for aging peppers to avoid spoilage?

My plan is to recirculate and agitate with pretty beefy air pump. So do temperatures of the reservoir matter then in this case? 

OK maybe I'm over thinking it then... I already planned on running a few air stones in the reservoir. 

I am planning on following your advice and going with a dutch bucket system once spring breaks. So is reservoir temps irrelevant with dutch bucket systems? I know a big concern is oxygen levels but I thought there are risks of PH swings and algae/bacteria issues with higher temps?

I had an idea while I was walking through a department store that I wanted to bounce off of the outdoor hydro people. I know there's a lot of issues with outdoor hydro and keeping the reservoir cool during the hotter months. Has anyone tried using a large cooler as a reservoir? I'm sure I'm not...
