I have taken the last seeds of Manzano Orange.  Assuming I get them to germinate, I will return some seeds to the train next year.   There are some 7 Pot Burgundy seeds on the train (someone questioned it earlier I think.)

The train has pulled in to this station!   So, question:   I am going to Hungary this coming weekend.  Is it better to bring the box with me and post it local post once I get there OR post it in England before I leave?   I'm tending towards post it here before I leave because I'm scared it might...

Seed bank is a lot more work for the person who keeps it / administers it, as they have to send and receive multiple times compared with the seed train.  Seed train = sending it out once, receiving it back again, then keeping it somewhere cool until the next year.  (For which many thanks...

:welcome:  from England!   I will be visiting Bulgaria for the first time in January 2019.  Do you have any local varieties of chilli?  Obviously January isn't the best time of year but there's nothing I can do about that.

I am going to Budapest in three weeks' time, as it happens.  If the seed train gets to me in time, I should be able to use the local Hungarian post instead of international (assuming Customs don't stop me bringing it in my suitcase.)

Don't know about sauce but a friend made a lime green powder by using a combination of unripe (green) pods and ripe Lemon Drops.  So I suggest you use a combination of green and yellow chillies (but not an orangy yellow, it needs to be clear or acid yellow.)

  I went to school in Bradford.  Lived in London most of my adult life but back now and living up near Emley Moor mast.  Not the best location for chilli growing, and I don't even have a greenhouse.

Hi Luke   A few posts back, Spicefreak said "I'm in."  He could have been talking about the European Union but I think it was the Seed Train. 

UK will not be in the EU next year so this may be the last year we can participate; eek!  (I voted Remain; does that help?)
