Wow Rick!!! Fantastic looking SB7J! Yes, I over wintered the mother plant and this year it was a real producer. Many of the pods have that mushroom cloud shape but most are not as bumpy. I'm glad those seeds produced yellow pods... thought it could possibly revert back to red as the yellow plant...

So I'm not too crazy after all. Those yellow look exacly like the pods from the one plant I kept of the MOA Red seeds. I had about 10 plants from the MOA red seeds, gave all away to co-workers and kept one. Was disappointed when it began ripening and the pods turned yellow.

Cutting, seeding, and dehydrating is all done outdoors or in our detached garage. My better half has very low tolerance to the odors and it does affect her much more than it does me. I try to minimize her exposure to that discomfort as much as possible.

Unless someone created their own SB x 7 Pot Jonah cross and called it SBJ7... it is probably just misspelled, the correct name is SB7J.   I had a plant last year that was supposed to be red, but it through yellow pods similar to yours. The other plants from the same seed stock threw red pods...

They don't look like any of the reapers I grow... they look more like habs. Maybe try a piece of one raw to get an idea of the heat and flavor.

Oil is usually amber in color and somewhat thick. If it is a thin colorless liquid, then it is water. As already said, this water may be carrying quite a sting.

Have to say that I am blown away by this box! The box was just bursting at the seams it was so full. 234 of some of the biggest and best looking pods I have seen all in one place. Well Done!   Anyone purchasing pods from Mike will not be disappointed!

Looks like it could be a primo to me.   I had a primo plant last year throw long pods, here is a pic of the more gnarly looking ones. The bigger pods were over 2.5" long. These were also the hottest pods I grew last year and were noticeably hotter than my reapers or brown moruga.  

Those look very good. What's the flavor like? A bhut cross maybe?

It's hard to pick just one!!!   SB7J, MoA SB, chocolate habs, and Aji Amarillo were my favorites from last year for flavor. Bad Brains and that Mustard 7 Pot from Wicked Mike also had great flavor.   Just had my first fresh SB7J of the year today and that may be my #1... what an awesome pepper!!!

That's a great looking pod! Mine had a late start, the plant is still very small and hasn't began flowering yet. Hoping it will kick in soon.
