    7-Pot Savannah...To Uproot, or Not

Jim, my Savannah is doing the same thing. I'm considering trying to over-winter it, but it's obvious I won't get any peppers off of it before the first frost. I have a couple of other plants in the same boat, but they were combating slugs earlier this summer.

    MOA...finally ripe

Awesome looking MoA SB... love the shape. I just picked the first ripe one off of my plant yesterday. It does not have that shape, but it is the best tasting pepper I have ever eaten!!! There are 4-5 more on the plant with a similar shape... none of them have that lobed bonnet shape as seen in...

    vendor pepperlover.com

I ordered 2 mixed boxes from Judy's last week offering and am really impressed with the quality of pepper. Some of the largest super hot peppers I have ever seen! Not only that, she threw in a few handfuls of extra peppers that nearly made up another box.... I had never heard of these peppers...

    Mixed SFRB and Powders

Just received the box of peppers! What a great sampling of a variety of peppers. The SB7J has a wonderful flavor and crispness, an excellent snacking pepper with cheese... and the Reapers are just insane... the hottest of the bunch so far... (I have not sampled all of them yet) and a great...

Not a moruga... but what is it?

That photo looks very similar to my plant. Thanks ajijoe for the ID and 420 dude for sharing the photo. What struck me as interesting is the way the peppers grow bunched together at the top of the plant... I had not seen that before in any of my plants. Do these peppers develop much heat... so...

make your own damn box of pods! LOTS OF PODS STILL AVAILABLE

I totally agree. Received the Brazilian Ghost last week and am really impressed. This is a red version and not only does it have a brutal burn (more so than the Reaper in my experience) but it also has a great flavor... this pepper would make a wonderful powder.   You will not be disappointed...

Not a moruga... but what is it?

Thank you for all of the replies. The pods are roughly 3 to 3.5 inches long and the plant itself is about 3 feet tall. The pods are all bunched together at the top of the plant with very little pod production below the main split. I suspected some sort of Thai chile but wasn't sure since I have...

Not a moruga... but what is it?

I picked this plant up a few months ago at a local nursery. It was labeled and sold as a Scorpion Moruga pepper. Turns out that this is obviously not a moruga or a scorpion pepper, but what is it? I tried a green pod... not really much flavor or heat... maybe it will get better/hotter when the...

pod Unusual looking Ring Of Fire pods.

Interesting. I'm growing ROF for the first time this year. My one plant is from purchased seeds (Seeds of Change). All of the pods are straight. The pods are not ripe yet, but I have already eaten a few and they are very tasty and hotter than the normal cayenne I have grown for years. If I save...

What's the difference between Wild Brazil and Cumari do Para? I've heard others state that they are pretty much the same. I am growing Wild Brazil this year. Have not tried either yet.

favorite What is your favorite Cayenne?

I have had good luck with cayenne's over the past few years. Not sure what variety, the starter plants were picked up from Wal-Mart, label just says Hot Cayenne. Pretty tasty and a few were pretty hot when red, although I ate a lot of them when green. This year I'm trying the 'Ring-O-Fire'...

chinense THE PEPPERNATOR versus The Carolina Reaper...To Hell and Back!

Great video! That pod put some serious hurt on him. His ability to try and stay calm under wicked heat is impressive, although it did send him into La-La land when he walked out side to get some air. I could feel the burn by just watching.
