Grow Light - Regular Fluorescent ok?

The setup looks a bit dim.. The lighting really needs to be strong if you wish to grow these indoors, but it's fine if you are gonna transplant eventually. My plants would not produce pollen under 4 CFLs. It took another 2 for them to really start producing. My flowers went from dropping a few...

breeding Butch T and Bhut Jolokia cross?

Oh, so the pods don't show any new traits? These came from Butch T Pods I obtained from a friend of mine. Same with the Bhut Jolokias too.

breeding Butch T and Bhut Jolokia cross?

Has anybody had a cross between the two? My TS Butch T plant has created these strange looking pods. They are long, but with ridges on them. Only 2 of my pods resemble a Trinidad Scorpion. I have both of these plants growing in my tent. Does this look like a cross between the two? A...

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

Pepper city. TS pod. Much bigger than before! This is my only pod that resembles one though. The rest are strangely elongated, like the one in the back... did they happen to cross with my Bhut Jolokias??

    Extending the growing season.

Some people overwinter their plants. They dig up their plants, trim them down, and then grow them indoors.

    Homemade worm farm

You can let it soak for a few days, or speed up the process to just a day via aeration. Aeration really helps to get the most out of your tea.

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

Here we go! A set flower. One observation I use to determine if it's set or not is to see if the flower is very dead looking, but the stem is still very sturdy. 2 two day old pods here, one up there, and the other is clearly visible. 3 week old pod is visible in the back. Very young TS...

    Cal deficiency

I think my plants have always had some sort of calcium deficiency, and cal mag helped only a bit. My leaves are crinkled like yours. It could be soil pH in my case, but so far, I haven't had any problems with my plants.

Shigshwa's Grow Log 2015-2016 (Hydro Grow of Carolina Reapers)

No problem. Also, seems like I was wrong about fruit set. Today, I've found at least 5 new Bhut Jolokia pods growing on my plant! My TS also seems to have one as well!

    Cal deficiency

Calcium sulfate is another option, also known as plaster of paris. I've heard of using crushed egg shells for calcium too, but I forgot how it was done.

    fertilizer How do you fertilize?

You could go through all that mixing, or just buy a fertillizer from the store. Some people go organic and use worm tea/bat guano. Personally, I use a mix of both, Fertillize with chemicals one time, organic with the other. I typically fertillize once a week.

A Ridiculously Improvised DWC Hydro Setup. (Now a grow log!)

It's been 31 days. And now, like my soil plants, it's beginning to bloom! Compare this to around 55 days for my soil plants.
