container-growing Grow bag size 100+ plants

Last year was my first year using fabric bags along with traditional pots. I bought some Vivosun and Phat Sack 3 gallon bags off Amazon. The Phat Sack 3 gallon was larger than the Vivosun... in fact, more like a 5 gallon than a 3. Both worked really well. I grew this Scotch Bonnet in the Phat Sack.

    Start Me Up - 2022

The first round of peppers are planted. Not the best picture, but you get the idea. They are not in their final spot, just here where the hose and my containers of soil and my work area are. 1a, 1b, 1c: El Jefe Jalapenos 2: Sunset Peach Scotch Bonnet 3: HSH Scotch Bonnet 4: MA Purple 5...

2022 - too early to get started...

I feel bad that you ran out of Marabella Market Caramel SB seeds. I'll fix you up again after this season.

I'm starting to get these things outside to harden. My El Jefe's are already starting to flower. The Scotch Bonnets SP and HSH are also outside and will get planted this week.

music any metal heads on thp?

I love Ghost. I just got the new album and I really like it so far. I've seen them live with Papa III and Cardinal Copia. I hope I can see them this fall now that CC has become Papa IV. They taped a segment for Jimmy Kimmel a week or two ago.

They look healthy to me, too. I bet they're getting ready to take off.

2022 - too early to get started...

I too have started seeds late and gotten fruit. I know my season here is longer than yours, but don't give up. It's not over until the fat pepper sings.

    Start Me Up - 2022

I thought I would share how I do things just in case anyone is interested. I DO NOT claim to be an expert... my way of doing things works for me. I do soak my seeds for at least an hour in Hydrogen Peroxide 3%, then overnight in distilled or purified water. I then plant my seeds in peat pellets...

    Start Me Up - 2022

I did a little maintenance today... trimmed some bottom leaves and topped off the bags with potting mix. The El Jefe jalapenos are coming along nicely. I'm liking the dark foliage on the Sunset Peach SB, the MA Purple, and the Pockmark Peach.

chinense 7 pot brain strain yellow, Scotch brain or Trinidad scorpion moruga yellow?

I can second Texas Hot Peppers, also. I'm growing three from their stock this year - a MA Purple, a Pockmark Peach, and a Death Spiral.

2022 - too early to get started...

I'm sorry to hear about the bad luck. Thankfully it's still early and you can get a second planting started.

    Start Me Up - 2022

Just for fun, I took a cutting of the cutting I had growing of my caramel SB. I took the tiniest cutting I could on 01/27, wetted it and sprinkled it with root hormone powder. I placed it under a light in a dome. The two leaves I left on it finally dried up and fell off. I thought, oh well, so...

I managed to get the jalapenos separated and transplanted into fabric bags. Hopefully they will take off and grow. Getting these things apart is like separating them from styrofoam... you have to plant them with a chunk of the media attached or risk tearing them apart.

I like Rob from 7 Pot Club also. I bought some fabric seedling bags last year and started using them because I saw his videos.
