    Ripe Reaper and Scorpions

It is hard, especially when I see stink bugs scratching at them!  We need a predatory bird to eat those suckers and get rid of them forever!   My 2nd year bell isn't doing as well as I had hoped either, we've had some weird weather recently, was down in the 60's and rainy for a couple days.  ...

    Ripe Reaper and Scorpions

Here's some of my first ripe superhots this year.  I got these plants from chileplants.com in the beginning of may and they have done great.  I pruned all my pepper plants a bunch, mostly the garden ones because they were getting tall and limbs were breaking.  The potted plants are doing much...

    plant-care Water dripper system configuration

I just got a mister landscaper vegetable garden drip kit, it was pretty easy to install and will definitely save me some water and time watering manually.  My chiles are in raised beds spread about 18 inches apart.  Any do's and don't you guys have come across with these systems?

Stranded on an Island, which three seed types are in your pocket?

Anyone actually gone a substantial amount of time on chiles only? And just survival speaking, bells have a good amount of water in their flesh which would be a helper if shit was hitting the h20 fan. Possibly a water container as well.

Hypothetically you end up on a deserted island with perfect grow conditions, which 3 Chile seed types would you want to have with you?  You are going to be there for 3 years at least so you'll have the chance to cross breed them if you wish.   My picks and why:   Bell Pepper Orange (For food...

    Anyone ever try this?

This all started because of a disastrous overwintering attempt, where I was only able to save 1 plant, an orange bell pepper which has gone frickin nuts since coming out of dormancy.  So from the response and what I've read, they should do well in the glass.  I've added a few more SB's and a few...
