is it correct to remove flowers off a young chilli?

yeah it DOES look very hairy in the pic. Maybe i zoomed in too much to show the buds.   I'll see how this one goes - I feel like I'm cheating by buying a seedling instead of running seeds. I'm going to be planting a heap of eggplants/chilli plants this weekend (most of my plants have 8-10 true...

is it correct to remove flowers off a young chilli?

I recently bought an orange habanero chilli from bunnings (a hardware store/nursery). when I bought it, it was about 4 inches (10 cm) tall, and it's probably 20 cm tall (8 inches).   It's started to flower at the top of the plant now, and I can see a few more nodes at the top. I'm wondering - is...

The weekend saw some really nice weather, up to 30 degrees on Sunday.   How did everyone else go in Australia?   Flowers on the orange hab already.   I spent the weekend planting out the pumpkins and squash, the habanero, and corn. 2014/2015 grow log - melbourne, victoria

I'm new here but I wanted to start a grow log to capture what I am doing at home (and hopefully improve next year). I've just bought my first home and have some small space to grow plants in.   As I go, if anyone has any advice I'd love to hear it.   So far, I started germinating seeds about a...

I'm very happy with my order from Grant - I emailed a list of things I was interested in, and he had them in stock even though not on his site. It certainly paid to ask him!   He even rushed them to the post office to get them to me asap, and was very generous with seed portions.   Overall, very...
