What are those stones you planted them in in?
That would be expanded clay pellets or "hydroton". It's an inert medium whose basic function is for support and coverage of the plant and its roots. Commonly used in hydroponic setups, in my case DWC.
I wouldn't really shoot down the usefulness of the link. In my case I have an indoor hydro grow setup for which I do care about positive pressure. Since my setup is in a box on the floor there tends to be a lot of dust. The positive pressure helps to keep said dust from getting inside my grow...
Why yes sir I have, put this little one on a wet paper towel on 12/3/2014. It's been 19 days since it germinated. Gonna see how long I can keep it indoors before it gets too big, after some topping of of course.
