THANKS!
I sowed them.
I live in New Hampshire and it's like -20F with the windchill right now. I'm starting indoors and moving them outside when the weather is appropriate.
I have a question about my young plants producing flowers. I heard that you are supposed to remove the flower so the plant can focus its energy on rooting and becoming stronger. Is this a common practice? Is there a link how and when I should do this. I was also thinking about pruning and...
It was a bit longer but i thought it was worth the wait because of how cheap they were. They came in earlier than the estimated date though. I think I waited 2 weeks. Look at amazon you may be able to find them in the in the US. Search for the wattage and then the specific wave length you...
I may give that a shot in the future. I'm still a noob at this stuff so going the traditional-ish route right now, but i guess I could try and ghetto rig something to test it out :). More Research! Muhahaha.
I may do up an arduino controller to test soil moister and pH that will control a pump...
Thanks Yellowfin! I got the LEDs off ebay, then with a little soldering and an LED driver. BAM! LED rig :)

Thanks tsurrie! Yeah the plants seem to like them. I used Juanitos design for the lights and it works well. WAAAAAYYYYY cheaper than buying an actual LED grow light.
Thank you Peter!
Everything looks so far so good I think.
Wooooo Hoooo transplant time for the first batch!
Happy pepper plants so far.
Seeing as this is my first real grow if anyone see’s anything I’m doing wrong I would love some suggestions.
HAHA Good idea! I was just trying to grow...
So this my first time growing peppers…. Well technically second, last year I just threw some seeds in a pot and hoped for the best. Results were less than impressive to say the least.
With countless hours spent researching on THP I think I came up with a strategy for my grow this year and I’m...
I am using a heat mat right now for the seeds. New Hampshire is veeeerrry cold at the moment. :)
I like your analogy of "No such thing as too many peppers, just too little growing space."
If I have too many I'll just give them away like you said. Good Karma from the pepper Gods. :onfire:
Right on. Thanks guys! Patients then, got it.
I'll take the ones out of the humidity dome once they have the first leaves and put them in the lightbox I'm building and leave the rest to hang out till they sprout.
