Holy moly! That thing was intense!
Hottest pepper I've ever tried.
My stomach was on fire for over an hour.
Nice thing is, they were dried pods so know I have seeds :-)
Picked this one up at my local nursery known for it's more exotic selection.
I've had almost 100% success on the plant being true from here so, we'll see.
Growing others from seed that I know are true from members :-)
Love this plant but it's in a 5 gallon container and very rootbound..can hardly stick my finger into soil because I hit roots.
Just seeing what others do. It's going into a much bigger container now. Should I trim the roots? I've done this before with no problems but not this large of a...
It's been triple digits here last few days. The leaves appear curly and brittle at ends with some dropping. Newer growth at top looks good as do pods. I've checked for pests even the micro ones..nothing.
Thoughts?
Reason I'm asking is according to JPL Climatologists, California is on track to have a very good possibility of what they are referring to as a Godzilla El Nino.
Rain amounts could be staggering.
So, for my container plants (in-grounds are what they are) when is it too much?

I have my plants on a digital water timer and soaker. Worked out for me last summer..we'll be home tomorrow and see.
Been real hot out here and before I left, my Bhut's were about to turn along with my Chocolate Habs.
I gave it a shot of Cal-mag a couple days ago. It's flowering and giving me pods.
What do you read from the leaves?
I've been trying to get this guy back to healthy.
I live about 5 miles from the Sriracha Sauce factory which is in Irwindale, CA.
I spotted this truck on the way home full of Jalapenos..the main ingredient of the sauce headed toward the plant.

Also known as the Hungarian Pumpkin pepper.
Great pepper with great flavor. Flat, ribbed, pumpkin shaped..no heat.
I have a few seeds from my last harvest if anyone wants to try this pepper.
Hope this is the right area of the forum for this.
Drop me an email if interested.

Hot as hell. There are 4 pods on this plant like the first pic. Then the others look like second pic pods. Grew from seed as Scorpion.

Finally, some good rain from tropical storm Dolores. Plants, grass, trees finally getting some water. I transplanted a cactus yesterday so I'm glad he's getting a little. This is the leading edge I hear..more expected through Monday.
Can't keep up with this thing. 40-50 ripe pods everyday. Started this one in a container but then, in-ground.
3 year old and non-stop producer every season :-)
Duplicate post. Sorry!
