So the T12 won't work for seedlings? I'm only using it once my seeds have sprouted. I'm thinking I may just build a small greenhouse and move my starts inside at night.

Im currently using a nearly free T12 setup. Probably going to buy some plants this year due to the seed failure. Do you know of anywhere in Iowa that sells superhighway varieties?

I too had issues with these plugs. I've never used them before and went crazy starting 72 plants with them. I eventually lost 95% of those seeds due to the plugs.   What type of light are you using Randy?

I was thinking that something like this wouldn't work for a Chinense. I have a never ending supply of food grade 4 and 5 gallon buckets with lids so I'm going to try a few or each size with various strains this year. Maybe I'll follow your lead and start a GLOG.   Thanks for quick reply

This will be my first DWC project. You had mentioned in the video that such a small reservoir wouldn't be able to support those four plants indefinitely. If you only had one plant how long would this be a viable setup? Does the size of the root mass or the size of the plant determine when it...

Just wanted to post a quick update. I started my seeds a few days ago. Much later than I had wanted to but the wife and I are buying a new house so we've been swamped and have had no time to work on our peppers.

None of my seeds had sprouted as of yesterday. Is it pretty certain we will be changing the variety?   I was excited for this pepper as I've never tasted one yet.

  Same here. I used to buy the old Blazin by the bottle for pizza at home. The new recipe is less flavorful, almost like they tried to increase the heat level while sacrificing flavor.
