Smoked peppers, corn and garlic are awesome fall/winter dishes. Rarely lasts past that around this place. Mesquite, Hickory, Cherry, Apple, Pecan and Apricot are some of my favorite woods for smoking. I use a 6 rack Masterbuilt MES 40 Bluetooth and a 4 rackCajun Injector 735 for smoking mostly.

I had a couple of pods produce 2-3 seeds each, but the other pods had no seeds. The pods were 1/2”x1/2”, lobed and went from green to purple to red. Super interesting visually, but wasn’t very hardy for me as a houseplant. It did great in the 11/2 qt. container that I had it in outdoors, but...

I grabbed some of the same seeds on last year’s Seed Train. Planted 4 seeds and all germinated. Had one mutant and 3 plants like the one in RHCP’s photo. Found a pic of the mutant, but not the others. Going to sow some of the seeds from the mutant plant’s fruits this next season.

Can’t wait for the 2024-2025 Seed Train!!! Sure would like to see more seed train participation from the community, though.
