Feeding Hot Peppers, How Little or How Often

True. But I am giving my plants pure R.O water at 3ppm. So my water contains nothing where people feeding regular house water get trace minerals every time they water. R.O water must be adjusted

Feeding Hot Peppers, How Little or How Often

We are talking containers. 5 gallon to be exact. I know some of my hard givings are due to aphids and mites.    That's a good plan/ feeding schedule.

Feeding Hot Peppers, How Little or How Often

Ya mine are in heavy production right now. Getting a steady dose of calmag but still showing some yellowing and curling on some plants. I have had a few bug issues as they love to feed on peppers. But have rectified that issue with some fogger.

Feeding Hot Peppers, How Little or How Often

Ok people I want to hear how often you are feeding your Chinense's. I have been feeding mine quite often. Although I am seeing some deficiencies, probably because of the heat 90+ and they are in full sun, no shade cloth. The sun seems to be really zapping my plants right now. How often are...

Plants wilting during the day during extreme heat

Shade cloth and some silica... Silica and some Magnesium will help make the cell walls stronger, and more resistant to wilt. Worked for me. Just don't overdue the  silica 5ML PER GALLON.

Blossom End Rot in Banana Peppers?

My plants have plenty of Calcium. And I have seen this on a few of my pods this summer. I simply pull those peppers and usually the next round is fine. I think some just get burned on the end from the sun and possibly to much moisture within the pod itself.

    Gnarly Pods, Pod Porn 2016

My brainy " wrinkled " pods have always been hotter than my smooth pods even from the same plant. When you split it open there are more oils inside the wrinkled ones. I guess maybe just more surface area and crevices for the oil to propagate? Thanks! I believe its quite common to see tails in...

health Dying plant? Not sure what is wrong.

That looks like some heavy dirt, perhaps too much clay. Peppers enjoy a light air filled fluffy soil.

    Peppers in Trouble Again

Calcium, sulfer, iron are the only real essential immobile nutrient that peppers use. His yellow problems are indicative of a lack of nitrogen and probably magnesium which are both mobile within the plant. So no matter he needs to feed his plants...

pests Ants & aphids, when to take action

No I don't. Unless you don't eat fast food, commercial meats, commercial vegetables. So basically you only eat food from animals and plants you raised organically on your own property I don't see the argument. I mean do you know what the farmer put on the jalapeno plant at his farm before...

pests Ants & aphids, when to take action

I use bug b gone from Ortho. It kills something like 150 different kinds of bugs. Especially the most important kinds for pepper plants I.E mites, aphids, white flies, snails, ants. Peppers in Trouble Again

People always blame ferts. When in fact to much ferts will manifest first in the new growth not the old growth. Deficient ferts will show in the old growth first as the plant will direct the ferts it has available to support new growth. And looking at the pics the newer growth is green where...
