Just a quick question.
I really love pickled Jalapeños. The problem I have is that I can't get enough green pods to do a decent batch. If I pick them while they are still green and wait for more pods to be ready the ones I picked first have ripened off the plant. I have doubled the number of...
Hello all.
At the end of last season I thought I'd have a go at overwintering two of my Jalapeño plants.
Well it actually worked and as soon as it started to warm up again, it started to grow like crazy & I know have two plants that are full of pods and flowers where my others which I grew from...
Sorry, I have no idea where that came from. I'll delete it. Not mine. Very confused. There were just links to my blog.

Hey all.
I have a plant which is supposed to be a naga. I grew it from seed from last seasons plant. Now half this plant is naga & the other is some variety I have never seen before. I planted it in the box from a seeding & i have never grown chillis in the box before. I have never even seen the...
Thanks everybody for your replies.
patrick.... They were grown in a hothouse & to tell you the truth it struggled to set fruit. I ended up giving the plant some light shakes every few days & in the end it started growing pods instead of just dropping the flowers.
Thanks again.
Hello all.
I have just been cutting open my Nagas to get the seeds out & noticed that in all the pods that I have opened the seeds are partially black. Has anyone come across this before?

Hello all.
I have a question for you.
In my Dads little hot house I have a Red Habanero which has been going really strong for ages now, fruiting like crazy. Now I also have a Naga Morich in there which I planted way too late in the season (Getting Seeds was hard) and therefore even though it...
I think I may have it an a terrible pot. I think it's become root bound. I'll try and over winter it and I'll repot it at the same time.
Thanks all for your advice.
Cheers. I'd love some of the fatalli & Hot lemon. The purple Serranos sounds great too. I actually sent you an email just before I noticed that you had replied to this thread.
Cheers
Hello all.
I have a few chilli plants growing at the moment & they are all growing really well except the Serrano. Most of the leaves are turning yellow and all the flowers and even buds have died and gone crispy brown. Every singe one. I no longer have a single flower. All the current pods are...
Thanks a heap DevilDuck. Thats great. I can't wait to give that one a try. :onfire:
So basically I can use that amount of chillies and Vinegar and just try other ingredients to make my own? Does that sound like a good base to start?
