Some basics on how I hybridize without bees and a few F1 and F1BC1

Thanks for sharing with the rest of us. I find this very interesting. Gonna have to read up on plant genetics sometime. Though time itself may be hard to come by these days.. Hehe..

    Year end review 2019

    1. What were the best peppers you grew this year? why? I would say El Scorponero Peach, California Reaper, Carbonero, BOC and Bolsa de Dulce were the best peppers of this year. They had such great taste - especially the superhots. Carbonero was the best looking plant that I had by far and it's...

    vendor Semillas La Palma

I haven't ordered from them recently. I have a collection of 200+ Pepper varieties and most have been bought at Semillas over the past 3-4 years. I have never had any reason to complain about the seeds or the costumer service. Never. This shop is my go-to source of seeds and if I want something...

I have a somewhat large seed collection at the moment but still found some interesting stuff in this shop. Never had a Naga pepper before (to my knowledge atleast) so I'll be checking a couple of those out. I once tasted a pepper from Pakistan with an extraordinary fruity flavour - maybe that...

Thank you, Cane, for the feedback :) Its nice to know that they care about customer service. The last sentence you wrote is exactly what I'm after when shopping seeds - or anything else, really.

Anyone here who has bought seeds from this website? Seems that they've got great reviews, but most of those are based on fast shipping - much like ebay, wish and whatever. Im just trying to find reliable EU seed sources :)

    Superhot Flavor Profiles

Just wanted to take a second and read through my old post once more. You know, since you quoted it :) My Jobito plant really did produce pods with a taste that made me think of grass. Later, during the season the flavour was a lot more like a heatless hab - which was a huge improvement IMO...

Do we still have people growing these in Europe? If so, I am very interested in the Violet and/ or White varieties. Maybe Yellow ones too I dont mind trading seeds to get them :)

indoor Indoors and outdoors in relatively cold climate!? Tips on strong peppers!

I agree with this post. This season was very hard on my outdoor plants. Many rainy days, and winds blowing most days gave my plants a very tough time. I live in DK BTW. The only unaffected plant was a Capsicum Pubescens. This kind of pepper is actually thriving under such conditions in the...

The heat doesn't seem to do Rocotos much good - if they dont experience cooler temps at night for example. This season might just have been perfect for outdoor Rocoto growing? :P Im savning seeds from it so it's no problem sharing them with others

Thanks Paul! Its been good overall even when the weather was troublesome at times :) I accept the fact that a greenhouse is the way to get a nice crop from the plants. But I aint complaining. To have multiple superhots producing under those conditions really feels amazing :D I will...

Thanks for stopping by, mild! :) Yeah it's been a challenging season for sure :) I am looking at greenhouse options once in a while. I'd like to build one myself but then again it would be easier to buy one secondhand instead ;) It's definitely something I need to have to progress my grows...

Just stopping by for a final update of this season in my newbie glog. You will easily tell why from the photo below.. It's only a fraction of the aphids I have to deal with at the moment. My PDN was looking good towards the end of the season, and I even got a couple of ripe pods on it :-)...
