Maybe a green bean with the consistency of eggplant?  Very unique, some people don't enjoy the "slime" like innards.  I personally love okra in any application

Hey Everyone,   It's been a while since I've updated.  Figured I would share a couple of pictures I took yesterday.  The heavy rains in May slowed things down a bit, but it appears everyone is happy and starting to produce.   Little man, helping me weed the beds   Scorpion is starting to get...

Thank you Paul,   I've enjoyed the new (obsession) it's had positive impact throughout my life.  Any threads you would point out regarding making a nice hot sauce for the variety I'm growing? (reaper, scorpion and ghost)?  I like it pretty hot, Dave's Insanity is not absurd heat for my...

Hey everyone,   I hope everyone had a great weekend... I've heard there was some colder weather and even snow in parts of the north, so I hope no one was negatively impacted by that.   One of the best weekends I've had in some time.  My wife and I got to play in the yard and with our son Ben...

Hey everyone,   I wanted to post an update as to the plants progress and what I've been doing to get them ready for plant out.  I have been hardening them off and it's going well.  I am at the point where I am leaving them out all night now and they are thriving in the fresh air and sunlight. ...

I've been wanting to do it for the past week and a half.  But, we've had so much rain recently and the weather has only been nice a handful of days.  I plan to start being more aggressive with hardening them off in the coming days and hope to be able to pot up to bigger pots next week. ...

Strange days friends....  I work in healthcare and it's been a bizarre several days here in east Tennessee.   Anyways, not a lot to update here.  They appear to be making some nice progress and really filling in after the aggressive topping. I will add some more pictures this afternoon without...

Here is an update to my grow...   I've been trying to extend the period my plants are on the dry side and I took it to the limit yesterday.  I checked on them in the morning before work and I knew I would need to water that evening, but they looked plenty fine to go a few more hours.  However...

seeds Burpee 72 Cell Seed Starting Greenhouse Kit

I ordered the burpee 72 cell germination dome ~$20. Loved it!!! I tried the ziplock method first and had far less success. I would definitely recommend a heating pad over everything though!

I decided to top my plants this afternoon.  I watched a few videos and did some quick research.  It was more difficult than I thought it would have been from a psychological standpoint.  Once I made peace with it, I think I did a pretty good job.  Got some really tight branching, I hope that...
