Anyone have good recipes (besides those on Google) for the Ghanian pepper sauce (with fish/shrimp oils) called Shito? There is a Ghana Best Shito sold in Tesco in the UK. Has anyone tried it or have contact information for the company? Thanks.

Wow, cool! Yeah, Belo Horizonte is the capital of MG state and where this other company is located. Best hot sauce I found so far but their distribution isn't the best so it is hard to find. I feel like going there just to meet Papa Pimenta!

Well I am in the São Paulo region for work so obviously one of the first things I did was to sample the local hot sauces. Brazilian food is generally not spicy except up north in Bahia, etc. so I have unfortunately been disappointed most of the time. Most taste like a weaker version of Red Hot...

I know Bumblee used to make lunch packs of Thai Chili tuna with chopped bird's eye peppers in it. It seems the two main ingredients were bird's eye peppers and sweet chili sauce. It was darn good though hard to find now. Maybe if you experiment you can get something as good.
