I'm currently using the zip lock method to germinate my seeds, these were started on 3/12 and as of yesterday I have 2 C. Flexuosum sprouts emerging. 15 days is the quickest I've seen a wild germinate, Temps during the day average 70-75 under the led lights.

Thank you in no rush at the moment. Can also give it a go with fresh pods or seeds in the future. As for the Rhomb, it grew like shutes all over the place.

Hey Paul, plants are looking good. Started some of the Uvalde Pequin seeds yesterday in a zip lock bag. What was your germination time for the ones you sown?

    PaulG 2023

Well here we are going into 2023 with Paul G leading the way. I applaud your OW plants for sticking with you during the hard times. I lost my C. Lanceolatum this past summer for some apparent reason. Hoping to follow your progress throughout the year better this year.

That was how it went for me last season with C. Flexuosum. Patience is a must with these varieties, had one C. Flexuosum give me a radicle and did nothing after that and died off. 😔 Will be tossing a few more in and giving it another try.

Paul, it hasn't been easy nor fun growing this particular variety. Took me several attempts and years to get a hook going and not dying off. My arch nemesis is the C. Flexuosum right now, tried many of times last season to get one seed germinated and did get one to hook and it didn't take off...
