    vendor Osborne Quality Seeds

This is my second year ordering from Osborne. They're a bit pricey, but they are about the only place in the US that carries all the "Sun" tomato variety seeds. I have grown the Sungold variety for many years, but tried the newer Sunorange cherry tomato. It turned out to be a healthy/hearty...

    vendor Victory Seed Company!

Placed and received my tomato seed order from Victory Seed Company. I think this was my third year ordering from them. As with my previous orders, they processed and sent out my orders very quickly. If anyone is interested in growing some of the newer dwarf tomato varieties, then Victory Seed is...

storage First Hard Freeze Tonight... Last Harvest 2018

The temperature is supposed to dip down to 29F tonight. Purged the irrigation lines and then did the last harvest  On the bright side, 2018 has been a great year in the garden for peppers.

    chinense Habanero Big Sun

Looking through my seed collection I found an old packet of Habanero Big Sun seeds I bought from Pepperlover's several years ago. It only had a few seeds left in it, but they all germinated and ended up with three plants  Next to Yucatan White, they are my favorite of the Habanero...

And the most prolific pepper in my garden this year is...

Yucatan White Habanero!   This was my first year growing them, but definitely not my last. They are good and crunchy and have found their way into most of my meals for the last couple months including my scrambled eggs. They're a good bit more pungent than any other white Habanero that I've ever...

    vendor Tomato Growers Supply

I did a quick search of Vendor Vault and was surprised to see that not much came up about this fine seed source. Granted, they specialize in tomatoes. But they do carry a good selection of common garden peppers, including some supper hots. I just ordered several selections of poblanos...

    Dealing with #@$% Stalls!!

Rookie smoker here. I built a Weber Smokey Joe conversion a couple of months ago. And thanks to a generous helping of beginners luck, all of my attempts at smoking meat have turned out pretty darn good even if I do say so myself.  :D Though, the two times I've smoked a pork shoulder, the...

    Bella

Grew this chili for the first time this year. According to the gentleman I got the plant from, it's called “Bella”. He said that he originally got the seeds through the Seed Savers Exchange, and there wasn't much info on it. It somewhat resembles “Cascabella”, and appears to be a C. Annuum...

Howdy from Rainy & Soggy NC

Howdy! I've been lurking here for a bit enjoying the hot pepper reviews and trying to learn more about their cultivation. I love to garden, and have grown jalapenos for quite a while, but have started growing hotter varieties in the last several years. No "super hots" yet, though THP has piqued...
