I've been reading threads in here about having a 1-1-1 fertilizer. Seems to be something worth trying. But I can't for the life of me find any nutrients in Australia that are 1-1-1.
I've been using dutch master advance for my chilies but I dont feel like they like it. Sometimes I can get them to hold onto flowers, most of the time I can't. Even with a very low ec. Seems like I have to have all the planets align before they'll set. I think the nitrogen might be too high even on the bloom nutrients.
So I did some looking online at my local Nursury/Hardware shop and found a couple of fertilizers that might do the trick.
They are close to 1-1-1 but not exactly and on the Daphine food the calcium is really high. I'm wondering if you guys think either of these would be suited to hydroponic chilies.
First one is bamboo food with 1-0.3-1 Sorry if the image is too small
next is Harrys Daphine food, which has 4.8-4.7-5.2 and 10 calcium. Although its not completly even I guess its better that the potassium is a bit higher than the nitrogen. I have no idea weather thats way too much calcium for a chili though.
What do you guys think?
