10 kilos and over 2400 Dorset Naga Chillies on 1 plant!

man that plant sure looked happy, 100-160 litre pot is freaking huge. that's what my local nursery uses for trees, no wonder its so big.

Guess they must be fertilizing it everyday. I dont think the pot size matters , if you plant it in the soil by definition the root system would be way larger. Maybe its not true , if it was true then we would see people on youtube doing the same thing , i may be wrong.

I would imagine the pots provide better aeration than planting in the ground. The soil is not compacted and they are stood on crates - better aeration at the bottom, water runs off and probably less prone to insects or soil borne diseases.

Unfortunately last year my "dorset naga" seeds grew into smallish plants that only produced at the end of the season and the peppers were large and yellow.

Amazing!
Seaspring Seeds people are the original Dorset Naga developers.
Is important to have all perfectly dialed in for such results and they sure know Dorset Naga like no other.
Also after so many season the genetics should be perfectly adapted to their climate.
