105 degrees. I mean, seriously. C'mon already.

I think my neighbor wall (privacy wall) is shading them from 2:30 on, which may be stopping that afternoon wilt.



I actually think my neighbor having all of her trees really trimmed up short 2 months ago is the contributing factor.
My Aji's are up beside the west wall so they get afternoon shade. Her trees used to keep the other side of the wall shaded all day long, now it gets direct sun for a few hours in the afternoon and feels like an oven plate. I've also noticed the Aji's are a lot more heat sensitive than the others.
 
Today, it's supposed to hit 94 over here in NY/BK, and we're supposed to be getting a mini-heat wave this weekend.
I am not looking forward to this.
My two habs are loaded with flowers.
