Just got our last night and tried it (well ok we already ate about 1/3 of the bottle) 
here is my take. VERY good sauce. A little thicker than the 1498. Lots of good fruit and pepper chunks. The taste is great. Very fruity and is very balanced. The heat isn't quite what I expected. I assumed it was gonna be a bit warmer than the 1498 but to my surprise it wasn't, not even close. The flavor however I would have to say is better than 1498. I even had my 8 year old son eat a dash of it, he liked it very much.
