2 Plants 1 Pot

I bought a couple of those bonnie peppers at lowes the other day and noticed that there was actually two plants in the biodegradeable pot they come in. Should I lust leave them be and grow like that, should I sacrifice one and cut it, or should I try to seperate them? They are really close together and I am not sure of seperating them is even possible with the roots being established allready.

Well what do you all think is the best idea?
