Just found the chili seeds from the move. The seeds have been out of the refrigerater for about one month so not sure if still good so planting them all. This time trying I've got ground to try. I'm thinking much better and cooler. As the Tomatoe I took out of the pot it was in had very hot soil. Started yesterday, so hoping I can get some to finaly get me some Habs. Got lucky enough as we've got Jalapenos to pod a few times but now almost all have died. I will take pixs when lite out tomorrow.

they should be good seeds have a very long life they can live for 10s of years
Its ver hot and humid here. Most chili seeds don't last long here. Longest I had them still come up is about 4 months if not in the refrigerator. In the refrigerator I've had some last over 6 months. I'd not worry about where you are as is not 100 F more or less all day and night with 68% humid. The new place in we moved to is not as steady. We get cooler nights and hotter days. But not cool like USA or Canada.
