So far this is what I will be growing next year as I'm going in a little different direction. What are your plans looking like for next season ?
 
6 or so varities of Aji
Lots of Chocolates from Habs and Fatalis to the hotter ones like Bhuts/ Morugas and Reapers.
One or two Yellows - Moa and maybe a Moruga or something milder. I've never grown a yellow pepper besides a bell.
Jalapeno's
A few types of Bell Peppers from the Middle East.

Depends on what you want to do with the pepper pods once ripe. I think that question has a little to do with choosing. For example, I grow jalapeño so I can slice and pickle them for salads, burgers, etc. I grow orange habs to make a 90-day fermented bottled pepper sauce. Some peppers are great for sauces, some for powders, and I grow reapers for the heat. I have Tath Sus seeds I would grow for powder. Fatalii's are really popular. Bishop Crown is good tasting no heat. Pick and eat right off the plant with that one. I am growing it this year. But, yeah grow them all. Haha.

Crap... A lot... I got a lot of new varieties I want to try out. I'll have to go through my seed list again when I get home.

Lots of the crosses I pollenated this year. Grow out the f1s and f2s if I get that far indoors before plant out.

Choc bbg7 getting added along with some others.

Maybe try red fatalii instead yellow.
Oh and paper lantern habs. Loved em this year.
