Just finished planting 24 peppers today, received em in the mail earlier. They look a little worse for wear but I'll get em to come around. In the morning I have to add support stakes and give em a boost of mycorrhizae and beneficial bacteria. Hoping to ease their stress, going to be a long morning :)

Will update soon!

Would love to see a picture if you get a chance!  I've never know anyone that ordered plants online.  How much did they cost and how big are they?

This year I'm growing 4 Reapers, 4 Aji Lemons, 4 Sugar Rush Peaches, 4 Jalapenos, and 7 Wonders.  The only way I was able to convince the wife to plant peppers in a second bed this year was to grow a few extra sweet peppers for her lol

From mail to soil they are finally here! I woke up at 6:50am to dose the peps with mycorrhizae and microbes (Orca and Recharge). I'm going to let them recover before I top em, giving time for the microbes do their job. I'm excited, can't wait to see what happens next!

The prices are fair at $4.00 - $6.00 (avg $4.00) The nursery is located in New Jersey so the shipping all together was $40 (two orders worth, about $20 each). The average height is 9+ inches with my Scotch Bonnet and Reaper are a bit small 4.5+ inches. They had hundreds of different peppers, tomatoes, and some interesting eggplants. To my knowledge the nursery is closing down this season. The owners had been running that place for 36 years, now they are retiring after all these years. I'm glad I was able to snag what I could afford, it was hard to choose, I wish I could have bought em all! If I ever sell live plants I'd price em at the same rate, a bit cheaper shipping though :)

Here's the site link if you're interested in seeing what they had http://www.chileplants.com/

The peps are looking better, I was worried that some wouldn't make it since the peps were boxed up for four days then BOOM light and high temps! Glad to seem em pull through, strong babies :)

Note: I'm having a snail issue, not major but enough for me that I just baited the exterior and shaded part of the grow bed.
I color codded all my peppers, red & white (super hots), red (extremely hot), orange (very hot), yellow (hot), green (mild), blue (sweet). I'll make a laminated chart soon that will have my peppers listed by row, name, and color rating for myself but more so for my neighbors if they happen to come over and pick some peps, don't want em dead ha! I'll even have tags zip tied to the support stakes so it's easy to know what's what.

Pictures are coming soon!

The peps are looking good! Performed another round of Orca and Recharge, need the root system to build before I top these little ones. Here are a few photos

Seeing the Scorpion popping two pods is a sight to behold! I never grew or ate the pod (had sauce) so it's a mean machine mates, can't wait to eat the first pod!
