2019 - Raised Bed Zone 9B Glog

My first GLOG, here is my list. Will start Feb. 1st, 3.5" deep pots in tray. Will be using seed starting mix, as opposed to peat pods the last couple of years. After germ, will put under T5 light until mid march.

After many many adjustments trying to get my temperature right at seed level, i have finally gotten 10 of 14 to germinate. Next year i will definitely be getting a thermostat for my heat mat, it fluctuated from 75 to 100 degrees, but now it seems to have settled in at 83 degrees. Will update some photos this weekend and sow the rest of my tomatoes.

I see you are growing Chili de Agua. Very interesting pepper,
originally a land race variety from Oaxaca, unless I'm
remembering incorrectly.  We got some from a mexican
market and grew the seeds out. The pods were very mild,
almost sweet, at the tip, but the stem end and placentas
were pretty hot.

Looks like some good seedlings coming along.

This was a freebie from refining chiles, I have never tried this before. It was a late add but looking forward to the variety.

Nice looking plants and beds although seeing you use black cow composted manure threw me off but I guess it makes sense since youre planting out soon and dont have time to let pure cow manure compost naturally to soil

Planted out my tomatoes and a few peppers today. Was going to wait a few days more for hardening off but with the overcast forecast, decided to risk it. Hopefully plant out a few more peppers throughout the week.
