2024 Glog!!!

Hello All,

Well, it's that time of year to start pulling out the Heaters and Grow tent to get them super hots and long-season peppers started... I will be starting my adventure on or around the first of the year. I'm just getting things cleaned up and ready. Clearing out old seedsio logs, and waiting on the seed train to see what I want to grow from there. Reviewing my notes from this year's grow season to see what changes I need to make. I will say I have chosen a few plants to over winter. I will be changing my garden's layout this year... and supplementing the beds a bit differently. I know I want to try my hand at goji berry this year... both black and red. I had an interesting hot sauce made with them and I want to try to make a version myself. I know I want to get my hands on some of Matt's sweet bonnets. LOL ok ok I'm rambling and spitballing ideas but ... it's time to get things ready and looking forward to this year's growing season...

ok well I had to consolidate More so that I can make room for round 2 hopefully this Sunday... but I wanted to keep it all posted.

Oh, there is something special in seeing all them germinating and growing bigger at once. I was sowing few of them at a time all over the autumn and winter so I missed that LEGION look. :mouthonfire:

I have to keep consolating so that I can make room for the bext round of seeds this weekend... im excited for this year's grow.. it's going to be a good one...
 
Omg all, my wife got me 2 gifts, one being the chili Nija, the other a new greenhouse from costco... this is going to be a good year lol

If i dont see any signs of life in the challenge peppers i will be planting 6 more this weekend.



Hopfully i can get to Building the new Green house this weekend, I have a lot of work to do, but the damn weather is not cooperating at all lol

and my Hangjiao Space Chilli Seeds have took off big time.. I HAVE ALL 10 OF THEM UP AND GROWING NOW YESSSSSS, im hoping to have them all in 1 box as of tonight so that i can make sure they all stay together... but Yes i have all 10 of them up and growing very excited..

I'm really struggling to get the wilds to germ, only 1 Rhomboideum and no Flexuosum have came up, still not giving up on them.
I'm also thinking I'm going to be out of the challenge this year as I have not gotten a single challenge seed to germ... Still trying though..lol

But wow my germ rate has been good so far this year..

OMG I'm so done with all my seeds for this season, Now it's just a matter of getting things off to a healthy grow... I'm Hoping I get a few more up and growing as I have a few that have not popped up yet. but it is what it is.....

I will say I have a few I'm very excited about this year and some that are for friends.

Learning notes: My wife and I are very happy with the Root Reit seed plugs, so much cleaner and easier with very good germ rates.
My new seed soak method has increased germ rates as well.

I already have people asking me to be put on my hot sauce and chili pepper water list... not to mention my jarred sweet and spicey salsa list... LOL
