Mr generous aka franzb69 gave me some pods again last week and decided to make another hot sauce again instead of putting those babies in my vinegar bottle.
My objective is to make a chili paste to be added in toyomansi(soy sauce + calamansi) that is commonly used here as a dipping sauce for siomai or dumplings.
My ingredients:
8 garlic cloves
1 small white onion
some vegetable oil
assorted chinenses and some of my own annums
powder seasoning
cracked black pepper
and the culprit: Kraft grated parmesan cheese(the one available in small green canisters) with half open lid so when you will try to sprinkle a little, the whole lid will come off.
I placed the garlic and onions in the food processor to minced them finely then sauted them in the oil until translucent.
While simmering the onions and garlic i put the peppers in the food processor and minced those too.
Since I don't want to lose much heat again, I turned of the fire and threw the minced peppers in the hot oil then added black peppers and powder seasoning.
Out of curiosity, my eyes where locked into the parmesan cheese. I only wanted to add a sprinkle to my concoction but i didn't noticed that the lid was almost unscrewed so I guess I accidentally put half a cup of cheese there.
I waited the sauce to cool down a little and placed the whole batch in the food processor to incorporate the cheese.
To make the story short. I have a spicy cheese spread instead of chili paste.
The darn sauce is good over toasted bread and a drizzle of pesto.
