3 Gallon Potting Pot question

On my trip I purchased a 3 gallon pot I plan on using
for my latest batch of transplants. My question is..
Is it big enough for my larger plants like Jalapeno,
C.R.Hab Numex??? or should I use it for my ornamentals
like my B.Rainbow or B.Bush. any hints would be great.
Tom
btw its great to be back :)did I miss anything good??

Most seem to like the 5-gal sizes, but I see no problem with a 3. The plant just may not grow as big but that may mean more peppers, maybe. Personally my hab roots have never filled out a 5 gal drywall bucket, so they may be best.

Yes you'll be perfectly fine with 3 gallon containers. I know a lot of people around here are into this must have 5 gallon size, but I've grown stuff from peppers, zucchini, to 5 ft tall 'special plants'in 3 gallon containers :)

I use them I have Red Bell and Alma Paprika in them and they are producing like crazy -- My Rocoto is my only slow grower/bloomer

Thanks for the help.Good to know I can use the 3 gallon
sizes, they are only like 3 bucks so I need to get 4 more
and thats not to steep a price to pay since they will be
reused next season.:)

last year i grew 4 chili plants in a container that was about 1/5th a gallon and i got 3 peppers from them :P
