seeds 3 Seedling leaves?

Ive been meaning to ask this for a few weeks now... I had a ghost pepper seedling come up on June 8th with 3 leaves instead of two. I've not seen or heard of anything like it on the forums and was wondering how often does this happen? Does it mean anything... maybe a mutant in the mist? Oddly enough of the 10 I planted, all of which came up within a few days, the 3'fer is doing the best and on its 4th set of true leaves. Thanks for the insight!

Look thru posts about last mar or April there was a hole bunch of post on three leaves and no it's not weird

Don't know if you found the existing posts about this issue but dont worry about it.
Your seedling is just "diferent", there's not wrong with it as long as its healthy.

i have a choco hab seedling with a tricotyledon, also had tomato plants that did that.

it's a mutation. but it's normal. turns to a normal plant. just started off a little mutated.

besides better for the plant more leaves in the beginning.

Sweeeeet... Thanks for the info... I wasn't sure if I had some sort of lazy leaf plant in the collection or not but I feel better about things now.
