7 Pot Chaguanas

This is my first year growing them. I have two plants, both have peppers beginning to ripen and the pods are bright yellow. Does anyone know if these go from green > yellow > red? I have seen pics of both colors, but I am fairly sure the pods I received last year were red. They were OP so it might also be a cross.

Pics tomorrow.

Talk to smokemaster he will know about this variety I remember him telling me about this just can't remember in detail what he said

Mine went through a brief flash of Yellow before going red last year.

Growing them again this season if all goes well.

and yellow

They were overwintered and recovering nicely.

Mine definitely look more like your yellows, except much wider. They remind me of a smooth yellow brain strain, but are even bigger than the BS. The huge pod is fully yellow today, I am going to let it hang on until the end of the week and see if it starts going red, I dont think it is going to since it has a very uniform yellow color to it.

So I finally broke down and ate this monster. I couldn't wait any longer, there are many more pods on the plants that I will let continue to ripen and see if they eventually turn red. It didn't end up weighing as much as I had hoped, 18 grams, which is nothing to complain about. Heat wasn't all that impressive, I finished half the pepper with my lunch. Taste was really nice, a bit of acid up front, nice floral finish, heat was dead center of the tongue.
